PBR Walk for the 22: No Veteran Walks Alone
The Mission: Every day, we lose 22 Veterans to suicide. At Project Brotherhood Resolve, we refuse to let that number stay a statistic. Our annual Walk for the 22 is a 23-mile journey of endurance, remembrance, and solidarity.
Why 23 miles?
- The 22: We walk 22 miles to honor the brothers and sisters who felt they had no other way out. We carry their memory in our rucks and in our hearts.
- The +1: We walk the final mile for the survivors. For the veterans still fighting the silent battle. This mile represents the resilience of the human spirit and the promise that PBR is here to help you keep moving forward.
What to Expect: Whether you are rucking with 22+ lbs, walking in honor of a loved one, or volunteering at a water station, you are part of the resolve. This is not just a walk; it’s a demonstration to our community that we are committed to ending veteran homelessness and suicide through financial intervention and transitional housing.
